Elevating Our Excellence: Laser Profiling Limited Invests in the Future with the AMADA ENSIS 6kW Fibre Laser

At Laser Profiling Limited, we believe in continuous evolution to better serve our clients. We are thrilled to announce a significant leap forward in our production capabilities: the upcoming installation of the AMADA ENSIS-3015 AJ 6kW Fibre Laser, complete with the AS-LUL automation system.

This new powerhouse is set to replace our trusted 4kW F1 CO2 laser. While the F1 has been a cornerstone of our workshop for years, the shift to 6kW fibre technology marks a new chapter in speed, precision, and material versatility for our customers.

What’s New?

The arrival of the ENSIS-3015 AJ brings several game-changing technical advantages to our workshop:

  • Unrivaled Material Range: We are expanding our capacity to cut thicker materials with ease, including up to 25mm in Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum.
  • Specialty Metals: The fibre laser technology allows us to confidently process "yellow metals" that were previously challenging, with capacities for 15mm Brass and 12mm Copper.
  • Variable Beam Control: AMADA’s patented technology automatically adapts the laser beam to the specific material and thickness being processed, ensuring the highest quality edge every time.
  • Auto Collimation: This advanced feature provides precise control over the beam spot size, allowing for faster cutting speeds and a wider kerf on thicker materials, which makes part removal cleaner and more efficient.
  • 24/7 Productivity: With the integrated AS-LUL automation, featuring a 56-second pallet change time and massive 3000kg pallet capacity, we can now offer highly reliable, automated "lights-out" manufacturing.

Why This Matters for Our Clients

The move from 4kW CO2 to 6kW Fibre isn't just about power—it's about efficiency. Fibre lasers are significantly faster on thinner materials and offer much lower power consumption than traditional CO2 models, allowing us to remain competitive while improving our environmental footprint.

The Roadmap to 2026

We are already preparing our facility for this arrival. The schedule for the transition is as follows:

  • February 6th–9th, 2026: The new machine is scheduled to be added to the workshop.
  • February 2026: Full training and commissioning will take place on-site.

Our team will be undergoing expert training during this period to ensure that from day one, we are delivering the precision and quality you expect from Laser Profiling Limited.

We look forward to showcasing what this machine can do for your next project. For more information on our new 6kW capabilities, get in touch with the team today
